Job Title
Job Advert Summary
To monitor, operate and control the supervisory systems (access system, CCTV cameras, fire detection system, fleet vehicles tracker reporting and radio network).
Minimum Requirements
• Matric (Grade 12)
• PSIRA Grade C certificate
• A Valid NKP Certificate
• SAPS issued Firearms Competency Certificate for Handgun and Shot Gun
• 3 years experience in a security environment
• Computer literacy
• Shift work
• Security Control Room Training Certificate from SASSETA and or PSIRA Accredited Training Institution
Primary Duties
• Monitoring CCTV cameras
• Monitoring the Access Control System
• Monitoring the Fire Detection System and all other emergency systems
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders during emergency situations
• Enrol and terminate staff on the access system
• Inspection and testing of emergency equipment
• Keep record of, and maintain accurate and real time information relating to all reported incidents
• Ensure that all security registers and inspection reports are always updated and accessible
• Report all and any anomaly observed from the monitored CCTV.
