Stock Controller at AECI

Duties & Responsibilities
✓ Perform monthly stock reconciliations and resolve stock related queries received including monthly sequence checks of all Retail warehouses
✓ Assist with reconciliation of stock variances of all warehouses
✓ Process monthly stock related charges
✓ Resolution of inventory queries and consignment stock management
✓ Creation and maintenance of stock codes
✓ Set up and maintain inventory master tables, and policies and procedures
✓ Recommendations of new inventory controls
✓ Report stock obsolescence provision
✓ Process of stock charges to Crop Advisers
✓ Planning of stock takes
✓ Participate in ad hoc stock takes

Qualifications & Experience
✓ Minimum education Grade 12 with tertiary qualification of a certificate or diploma in Stock Management/Inventory Control advantageous.
✓ Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience as a Stock Controller.
✓ Previous experience in the agrochemical industry advantageous
✓ Well experienced in company standards and programs requirements in order to pass on knowledge and requirements to others.
✓ Must be able to demonstrate the ability to interface successfully at multiple organisational levels.
✓ Possess good communication (verbal and written), planning, organisational, presentation, report writing and people skills.
✓ Computer literate MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook)
✓ Possess a sound working knowledge of Syspro/SAP.
✓ Must be in possession of a valid driver’s license, have own reliable transport and be medically fit to drive.
✓ Ability to work independently as well as within a team, use initiative and be deadline driven.
✓ Working knowledge of SHEQ Management Systems (i.e. ISO, etc) standards/requirements advantageous.
✓ Possess the ability to solve problems systematically and possess good facilitation and training skills.
✓ Must be safety orientated
✓ Possess the ability to converse in both English and Afrikaans (verbally and written) due to the nature of the company’s client base.
