Duties and Responsibilities
- Conducting statutory audits on new and existing client records
- Formulating appropriate recommendations to resolve statutory audit findings or non compliance
- Upload of client data onto cloud based company secretarial software (preferably on Greatsoft / E-Sec)
- Reconstruction of historical records where required
- Timeous processing of statutory instructions from clients
- Lodgement of statutory changes with CIPC within specified time frames
- Ensuring client statutory registers are up to date with the relevant authorities (Companies / Trusts)
- Adhering to annual CIPC compliance requirements by meeting stated deadlines
- Drafting of resolutions at board or shareholder level as required
- Effective execution of all statutory administrative tasks
- Registration of new entities
- Amendment to entities
- Conversion of entities
- Deregistration or dissolution of entities
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in the corporate governance secretarial environment
- Thorough understanding of the Companies Act with a keen interest in statutory administration
- A Tertiary Qualification in Law or a Business Degree
