Service Technician : BAOFN Compressor South Africa

•  Responsible for perfoming routine,preventative maintenance and repair on all brands of Screw Air Compressors, Dryers and Ancillary Equipment.
• Must be willing to relocate around SA as needed by company
• Preventative maintenance should be conducted in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations.
• Ensure that the job cards are correctly filled in and sign off.
• Responsible for Stock.
• Troubleshoot and perfom diagnostics on malfunctiong equipment, determine possible causes for malfunctions, and perform repairs suggested by diagnostics and assesment. prior to and following preventative maintenance and repairs, test and document the proper operating parameter of the equipment.
• Document all work perfomed daily using company provided hardware and softaware. Development rapport with customers through effective communication, interpersonal skills and and professionalism.
• Provide high level of customer service, responding to customers needs and working to satisfy customer expectations
• Be able work overtime on short notice.
• Serve as an ambassador for the company.
• Must have the abillity to work and solve problems independtly, promote and practice proper safety procedures and correct use of personal protective equipment at all times.
• Contribute to positive company branding by projecting a knowledgeable, proffesional and customer-oriented image to customers.
• Abillity to manage time and deadline.
• Perform all duties in accordance with BAOFN Compressor standards, while always striving to understand the needs and expectations of the customers.
• Computer proficiency as required for communications, research, work orders and programming various controller. Excellent customers service and communication skills (oral and written)
• Ability to mange manage time and deadlines.
• Sound interspersonal skills complimented with high energy levels.
• Abillity to manage projects and implemnt tools and system.
• Poven abillity to work well under pressure and demonstrated abillity to use own initiative.
• Available to work after- hours weekends and public holidays.
