Reporting to the MD you will be required to manage the service centre work for field technicians.
Essential Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Matric pass or higher, Matric with Maths and Science would be advantageous
- Functional Microsoft Office Skills – Excel & Word – High written literacy skills required
- Knowledge or prior working experience in an industrial-type service industry
- Fully Bilingual – English and Afrikaans
- Good telephone presence
- High work ethic
- Client Liaison & Report Writing
- Own reliable transport required
- Valid clean Drivers Licence
Key Result Areas:
- The handling of incoming /outgoing sales and service calls in a speedy and professional manner
- Compiling cost estimates for service crew visits
- Issuing service quotations to clients using the Sage system
- Compile reports of service when required by customers
- Delegation of service visits/work to service teams
- Updating CRM package
- Liaison with other staff members to ensure smooth client relations
- Liaison with the financial controller to ensure timeous payments
- Communication with Safety File writer to ensure safety files are in place before dispatching a service crew
- Liaison with all internal staff to ensure general messages are passed on and attended to by the respective staff members -when required on day-to-day matters.
- Compiling & issuing bills of materials and time on site to complete estimates to Sales staff for quotation purposes
