Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Assisting the senior conveyancing secretaries with administrative function including but not limited to compiling transfer documents;
  • Follow up on signature of transfer documents;
  • Keep records up to date and provide manager with weekly updates on projects;
  • Attend to deliveries of deeds and transfer documents;
  • Opening of files on computer software programs;
  • General Conveyancing secretary duties.

Requirements

  • Grade 12.
  • Paralegal diploma in conveyancing or completion of conveyancing course.
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a conveyancing secretary or working in a conveyancing practice.
  • Computer literate.
  • Knowledge of Lexis Convey.
  • Experience in Property Development Conveyancing.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent client etiquette.
  • Good command of English language (written and verbal)
