Duties and Responsibilities
- Assisting the senior conveyancing secretaries with administrative function including but not limited to compiling transfer documents;
- Follow up on signature of transfer documents;
- Keep records up to date and provide manager with weekly updates on projects;
- Attend to deliveries of deeds and transfer documents;
- Opening of files on computer software programs;
- General Conveyancing secretary duties.
Requirements
- Grade 12.
- Paralegal diploma in conveyancing or completion of conveyancing course.
- Minimum 1 year experience as a conveyancing secretary or working in a conveyancing practice.
- Computer literate.
- Knowledge of Lexis Convey.
- Experience in Property Development Conveyancing.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent client etiquette.
- Good command of English language (written and verbal)
