Dis-Chem Pharmacies in Midrand has an opportunity available for an SAP BW Graduate to join the team for intake 2023. To assist any Dis-Chem Stakeholder with any query related to the SAP BW while maintaining the integrity and functionality of SAP BW.

Minimum Requirements

Essential:

• Grade 12 – Matric or Senior Certificate
• Diploma or Degree/Bcom Computer Science & Information Systems, Bcom Information Systems, Bsc Computer Science & BSc Information Engineering, B Comp & Info Sciences

Advantageous:

• SAP BW Certification

Job Description:
SAP Business Intelligence:

• Conduct regular testing on the SAP system according to the business needs and requirements.
• Roll out of BW Projects to the Business according to information at hand, business needs and requirements.
• Assist in creating training material and proved training to users on BI navigation, improvements, enhancements, and reports when needed.
• Interpret business needs and verify report results before sharing it too the relevant Dis-Chem stakeholders.

Stakeholder Liaison:

• Provide support to Head office and Stores with any relevant queries they might have.
• Respond to and assist any Dis-Chem Stakeholder with any query related to the SAP BI including:

• Store, Head-Office Staff, Managers and Directors, Auditors, Consultants

Reporting:

• Create relevant reports and analyse the information into a functional tool.
• Create new BW Reports containing relevant information when requested to do so.
• Create specifications for new Reports based on Business needs.
• Assist all areas of the business with regards to better/ new Reporting.
• Create Business Requirement Documents (BRD) to improve or enhance business processes and reporting within SAP BI.
• Perform and document detailed testing of all these improvements, enhancements, and reports

Competencies:

Essential:

• Knowledge of SAP BW
• Finds solutions to potential issues as well as knowing when to escalate the problem and what level to escalate it to.

• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook) SAP,BI, SQL.

• MIE, clear criminal and credit
• Driver’s license and own reliable transport

• Be able and willing to provide support outside of normal working hours.
