SALES REPRESENTATIVES: Silicone & Technical

Job Description

  • We are currently looking for Sales Representatives to join our team.
  • Vacancies is available for our JHB, CPT and DBN branch.
  • You must have your own vehicle and have at least 3 years experience selling into the following industries:
  • Construction
  • Hardware / DIY
  • Cleaning Chemical (Industrial)
  • Emulsions/Antifoams
  • Food grade (manufacturing)

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Adding new customers to customer base.
  • Selling new products to existing customers.
  • Selling and marketing new product lines to existing and new customers.
  • Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.
  • Using sound sales business techniques of calling plans and new business pipelines.
  • Develop and build sustainable long term business relationships in the industries and markets.
  • Performing market research pursuant to the Company’s requirements.
  • Develop and implement special sales activities to reduce stock.
  • Run the rep code using the Ansoff principle.
  • The submission of daily, weekly and monthly sales reports is a fundamental pre-requisite of the position.
  • Prepare action plans and schedules to that will support growth plans and strategies.
  • Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts.
  • Manage and maintain client contacts and details.
  • Attend weekly sales meetings.
  • Prepare and report on pre-determined KPI’s in conjunction with Branch Manager.
  • Define and manage departmental risks with outcomes
  • Any other duties that might be required.
