Job Description
- We are seeking a well-seasoned and experienced Sales Representative in Gauteng, Mpumalanga, Limpopo, KZN, North west & Eastern cape with the background of hardware, Tiles and Steel sales such as roofing sheets IBR & corrugated, Steel, Aluminium and fencing.
- The ideal candidate must be able to maintain and build strong customer relationships as well as opening new business. The candidate must have a strong market relations in general trade, specifically wholesalers and chain stores.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible to maintain the relationship and open more business with wholesales, independent stores and chain stores
- Must have a strong relationship with the buying groups nationally
- Responsible for maintaining current customer relations and accounts
- A MUST experience in HARDWARE supplying of ROOFING SHEET, FENCING, STEEL, & ALUMMINUM, products such as = Corrugated Roofing Sheet, IBR Roofing Sheet, King Tile Roofing Sheet, Ridging, Cornice, Roofing Screw Welded Mesh, Barbed Wire Double Stand, Barbed Wire Single Stand, Wheelbarrows Aluminum Bronze, Aluminum Square Bars, Aluminum Casement, Aluminum Rectangular Tube, Aluminum U Channel Lip Channel, Square Tube, Rectangular Tube, K Standard, F7 etc.
- Manage and resolve clients issues and complaints
- Anticipate clients changes and improvements
- Manage communications between clients and internal teams
- Work with sales team, logistics, managers, and team members from other departments dedicated to the same client account to ensure the highest quality of service is delivered
- Meet all client needs and deliverables according to proposed timelines
- Analyse client data to provide customer relationship management
- Able to negotiate goods deals with the buying groups, distributors etc.
- Must have great proven record from previous employment in wholesale industry dealing with buying groups within the Hardware division
Requirements
- Knowledge of Hardware is a MUST
- Very strong and extensive external sales experience essential
- Detailed understanding of negotiations is a MUST
- Computer Literate is a MUST
- Motivated and hardworking
- Valid driver’s license with own reliable vehicle essential
- Must be willing to travel at all times
