Job Description

  • We are seeking a well-seasoned and experienced Sales Rep with the background selling of House Hold good such as crockery, glassware, cutlery, servingware, chaffing dishes, events plastic tables, small appliances, kettles, LED lights, microwaves etc
  • The ideal candidate must be able to maintain and build strong customer relationships as well as opening new business. The candidate must have a strong market relations in general trade, specifically wholesalers and chain stores.
    The candidate must have experience travelling and working in the following regions, North West, Eastern Cape, Mpumalanga, Limpopo and Gauteng. Having a strong customer base/relationships in these regions is a MUST.
    The candiate must have export experience in terms of Sales, withing  the SADC cuntries such as Swaziland, Mozambique, Lesotho, Botswana, Zimbabwe etc

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Responsible to maintain the relationship and open more business with wholesales, independent stores and chain stores
  • Must have a strong relationship with the buying groups nationally
  • Responsible for maintaining current customer relations and accounts
  • A MUST experience in House Hold and Small appliances field supplying of crockery, glassware, cutlery, servingware, chaffing dishes, events plastic tables, small appliances, kettles, LED lights, microwaves etc
  • Manage and resolve clients issues and complaints
  • Anticipate clients changes and improvements
  • Manage communications between clients and internal teams
  • Work with sales team, logistics, managers, and team members from other departments dedicated to the same client account to ensure the highest quality of service is delivered
  • Meet all client needs and deliverables according to proposed timelines
  • Analyse client data to provide customer relationship management
  • Must be willing to travel long distance and business trips
  • Must be willing to work odd hours when necessary
  • Able to negotiate goods deals with the buying groups, distributors etc.
  • Must have great proven record from previous employment in wholesale industry dealing with buying groups within the Hardware division
  • Must be able to handle high targets such as 3-7 Million per month


  • Knowledge of House Hold and Small appliancies is a MUST
  • Very strong and extensive external sales experience essential
  • Detailed understanding of negotiations is a MUST
  • Computer Literate is a MUST
  • Motivated and hardworking
  • Valid driver’s license with own reliable and presentable vehicle essential
  • Must be willing to travel at all times
