Job Description
– Advice and sell individual medical insurance and other supplementary products (GAP and Loyalty programmes) within an insurance company.
– Ensure that the client receives enough information to make an informed decision and take up the medical insurance plan that suits them.

– Advice and sell individual medical insurance and other supplementary products (GAP and Loyalty programmes) within an insurance company.
– Ensure that the client receives enough information to make an informed decision and take up the medical insurance plan that suits them.
Duties
– Customer Needs Clarification Set clear objectives for each sales call or meeting; use standard materials to make a presentation to the customer; and ask relevant questions to evaluate the
customer’s level of interest and to identify and respond to areas requiring further information or explanation.
Sell Customer Propositions
– Identify the products or services that best meet the customer’s stated needs, explain the selection to the customer, and invite the customer to make a purchase at the standard price/terms and conditions of sale.
Account Management
– Provide day-to-day support on both new and existing accounts to perform prescribed and non-routine account management activities.
– Help the account management team respond to more complex customer enquiries.
Requirements
– Matric / Grade 12 or SAQA Accredited Equivalent (Essential);
– FAIS Accreditation and Qualification (Advantageous subject to DOFA);
– Regulatory Exam 5 (Advantageous subject to DOFA)
– 1 or more years telephonic sales experience (Essential);
– Medical Insurance and Gap Sales Experience (Advantageous)
