Refunds Clerk | Santam

What will you do?
▪ A position for a Refunds Clerk exists in the Group Finance, Credit Control team, based at Auckland Park.
▪ The incumbent will play a key role in the Refunds team with the main responsibility of calculating, processing, and approving refund requests.

▪ Assisting with queries and providing back-up support in the team where required

Qualification and Experience
▪ Matric
▪ Financial qualification would be beneficial
▪ Minimum 2 years previous Credit Control experience in an insurance environment would be advantageous
▪ Reconciliation experience

▪ Attention to detail
▪ Must have analytical ability and be able to analyse data to solve problems and provide appropriate solutions
▪ Strong client service orientation
▪ Ability to work under pressure
▪ Deadline driven
▪ Excellent communication skills – all levels
▪ Must be Computer Literate (MSExcel & MS Word)
▪ JDE, Mainframe (Persetel) and Guidewire knowledge
