Receptionist | BHBW

Purpose of the Role
To manage BHBW front desk daily and to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to ensure the maximum positive brand exposure.

Key Performance Areas
▪ Responsible for receiving visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing their arrival
▪ Answering screening and forwarding incoming phone calls
▪ Receiving and prompt sorting and distribution of daily incoming mail
▪ Respond politely to internal and external customer requests and queries
▪ Maintain the visitor register and ensure all external stakeholders sign the register before entering the BHBW offices
▪ Ensure BHBW’s reception is always clean and tidy
▪ Be prompt and accurate in distributing telephonic messages
▪ Ensure the switchboard is always managed professionally
▪ Maintain a safe working environment (according to safety policy and procedures)
▪ Manage the arrangement of access cards for all new staff
▪ Responsible for the creation of purchase orders for various departments
▪ Responsible for ad-hoc admin duties

Minimum Qualification
▪ Grade 12
▪ 2-3 Years’ experience in the same position
