Duties and Responsibilities

  • Managing the operational performance of the receiving department
  • Provide leadership and coaching within the receiving department
  • General management of the receiving department, e.g. managing expenses within the allocated budget, facilitating the import damage process/ excesses/ shortages etc.
  • Manage the relationships between the receiving department and stakeholders, e.g. QC, buyers, suppliers etc.
  • Being able to work in any other department when required
  • Ad hoc tasks as required

Requirements

  • Grade 12
  • Computer Literacy: Google Sheets and/or MS Office
  • Good communication skills; excellent in planning, organizing and problem-solving;
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships; high regard for quality and detail
  • A passionate, service orientated team player
