The Quantitative Analyst II is required to develop quantitative analytics products and models within a specified framework, and with minimal guidance, to translate business requirements into tangible, creative solutions. To optimise processes, recommend enhancements and inform strategic decisions through statistical modelling and data analysis that address business problems or opportunities. To provide analytical support and interpret insights to address business opportunities and problems. Delivers within broad parameters and with limited supervision. May have people management responsibilities.
experience and qualifications
Minimum Qualification – Bachelors Degree with Honours in Computer Science / Econometrics / Actuarial Science / Mathematics Degree Preferred Qualification – Bachelors Degree with Honours in Computer Science / Econometrics / Actuarial Science / Mathematics Degree Experience – Three to five years as a Quantitative Analyst in financial services industry with at least three years people management experience
