Job Description

Dis-Chem Pharmacies requires an experienced Online Picker for their Cornubia Store. To assist in maintaining the effective in store operation of the Dis-Chem Online Store Click and Collect System by ensuring the efficient and accurate picking and packing of stock in line with Dis-Chem standard operational procedures, requirements and customer needs.

Essential:

  • Grade 12 / Matric
  • 1 – 2 years’ work related experience
  • Computer literate – MS Office
  • Strong command of the English language
  • Basic customer service
  • Willing and able to work retail hours

Administration:

  • Assist Online Administrator in keeping accurate records of all Click and Collect orders received, picked, packed and released to customer.
  • Report any system issues as per Dis-Chem standard operating procedures.
  • Report ‘out of stock’ lines to the Online Administrator.

Stock Control:

  • Ensure all orders are correctly picked and packed as per picking slip to avoid any customer discrepancies.
  • Ensure customer orders are ready for collection before the customer visits the store to collect their goods purchased.
  • Execute all purchases based on standard and consistent Dis-Chem operating procedures.
  • Maintain operational standards throughout the picking & packing process.
  • Assist with weighing and shipping of orders.
  • Transfer shipped parcels into storage area and assist loading boxes into Courier vehicles upon request.

Customer Service:

  • Resolve any customer queries in the fastest most appropriate way possible.
  • Inform management of any customer discrepancies as soon as possible to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Constantly and actively strive to improve productivity of the department within the store including engagement and retention of customers regarding Click and Collect.

Communication:

  • Give Online Administrator & Online Supervisor regular and up to date feedback regarding Click and Collect operations.
