My client is looking for a driven, dynamic, meticulous “go-getter” for the organisation’s Managing Director.  The Personal Assistant shall be responsible for and provide senior level assistance to the Managing Director and senior members of the management team.


Responsibilities shall include, namely (not to be treated as an exhaustive list):
– Welcome guests/visitors into the senior office appropriately
– Perform all general office administration i.e., (not limited to): preparation of letters, presentations, agendas, minutes, memos
– Ensure the Managing Director’s diary management is effectively managed i.e., allocate appropriate appointment dates and times
– Ensure all necessary travel arrangements are completed for the Managing Director and other senior members’ of staff
– Co-ordination and liaison of staff members activities in accordance with the required request from the Managing Director
– Organise, plan and co-ordinate all required meetings and events, that coincide with the Managing Director’s requirements
– Preparation of Managing Director’s meal plans throughout the day
– HR facilitation i.e., discretion where need be and based on the severity of the required action. Examples may include: issuing of warnings, offer of employment facilitation, salary review letter distribution
– Project involvement and facilitation
– Service Provider liaison and involvement in relation to designated capacity
– Ad hoc requests, as and when required

Requirements include:
– Matric (grade 12) is essential
– Tertiary qualification in i.e., Business Management would be highly advantageous
– Proven track record of 4 years + prior experience in a Personal Assistant role
– Well presented
– Must be organised and have the ability to multitask

– An incredibly effective communicator, both in the written and verbal context
– Additional hours will apply to this position, so a full understanding and willingness of this beforehand is important
– Valid drivers license, and own vehicle is essential as travel will be a requirement of the role between the different offices
