Job Description
- Our client is one of the largest manufacturers of industrial and utility boilers is in search for a Panel Builder to join their team in Bellville, Cape Town.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Drawings and schematics, interpret relevant symbols, abbreviations and wiring on drawings.
• Identify material and material specification as per design and drawing requirements.
• Electrical Fault finding, testing and diagnostics
• Electrical systems installations, repairs, replacement and upgrade.
• Identify and determine schematic functions and switching actions.
• Identify material and material specification as per design and drawing requirements.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, equipment and components by using test equipment
and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using
testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and
safety of system
• Panel Building and timeous hand-over of panel build.
• Perform Visual inspection after repairs.
Requirements
• Matric/ N2
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in an electrical and mechanical field, exposed to instrumentation.
• Electrical control Panel Building.
• Project managing with hands on duties.
• Programming, fault finding and commissioning of instrumentation, variable speed drives and
programable logic controllers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer Literacy.
• Syspro knowledge would be advantageous.
• Trade certificate would be advantage
