Maintenance Worker Jobs at Trafalgar Property Management

The Maintenance Worker is responsible for maintenance projects in and around the HOA daily, and will be supervised by the Maintenance Team Foreman. Instructions as to what work should be done are received daily or at any time when emergency repairs must be done. Completed work is subject to inspection by the Maintenance Team Foreman.

Responsibilites include (but is not limited to)

  • Fix doors in the common properties and change the locks if they are bad.
  • Carry out carpentry/wood work.
  • Carry out repairs on minor electrical issues.
  • Carry out minor Plumbing repairs
  • Carry out painting work.
  • Carry out tile repairs.
  • Paving repairs.
  • Repairing / Instituting of minor waterproofing issues.
  • Mix and lay concrete.
  • Troubleshoot general problems.
  • Repair and replace general hardware.
  • Carry out minor welding repairs.
  • Attend to members of staff promptly when called upon.

Minimum requirements – Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

The qualities, including skills, knowledge, and abilities required to perform tasks effectively include:

  • Atleast 3-4 years experience as a Maintenance Worker
  • Security consciousness.
  • Being highly observant.
  • Ability to solve problems.
  • Being smart and agile.
  • Have good human relations.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Good time management.
  • Good knowledge of electrical works.
  • Good Knowledge of Plumbing works.
  • Good knowledge of carpentry.
  • Have a positive attitude to work.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • Dedicated to providing an Excellent finished product / service.
