Lease Administrator | Broll Property Group

Responsibilities:

  • Terminate tenant accounts on instruction and notify departments
  • Capture journal entries for lease fees, deposits, and appropriation of deposits
  • Advise meter readers of tenant movements and make electricity and water adjustments
  • Arrange invoices for tenants paying deposits/rental in advance
  • Upload relevant documents to BOL and send original leases for archiving
  • Draft and prepare leases
  • Maintain a register of all lease movements
  • Process lease agreements via owner’s approval form
  • Prepare, cancel, and amend lease agreements, addenda, and suretyships
  • Handle and check deposits, bank guarantees, and maintaining replacement bank guarantees and additional deposits
  • Reconcile deposit accounts
  • Meet assigned deadlines and timelines
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and coordination with company personnel and management
  • Assist Portfolio Management personnel as needed
  • Keep management informed of area activities and significant problems
  • Attend and participate in management meetings and take minutes
  • Complete special projects as assigned
  • Update and maintain lease audits and building lease profiles
  • Upload monthly leasing reports for management packs
  • Prepare monthly executive summary for reporting to leasing manager

Qualifications:

  • Matric
  • Good understanding of legal leases
  • Basic understanding of accounting practices
