Job Description

  • To perform general administrative duties and specimen logistics in the laboratory.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain good client relations in order to promote the image of Ampath, Perform administrative and materials management functions in order to ensure optimal functioning
  • Perform general laboratory tasks in order to ensure relevant safety and accreditation standards are maintaine
  • Perform specimen management related tasks such as hub tracking, receiving, aliquoting, storage and tracing of specimen to ensure sufficient processing of specimen

Requirements

  • Certificate: Office Administration
  • Grade 12
  • Experience in a medical environment,
  • Knowledge Meditech system
  • Knowledge of compiling management reports to follow up outstanding results and specimens
  • Knowledge of the operation regarding the Immunology specimen storage system
