It Services General Manager | StaffCentral Consulting

Job Duties/Responsibilities will include:
Overseeing the administration of core IT systems.

Drafting / maintaining IT policies / documentation.

Providing support with IT system configurations and integrations.

Overseeing networking, access control, printing, AV and connectivity at various locations.

Implementing automations, protocols and tools to control access to all IT systems.

Determining hardware requirements and managing device profiles.

Full device lifecycle management.

Reporting against agreed KPIs.

Liaising with external consultants to perform IT security audits.

Implementing security measures and performing routine and proactive security audits.

Identification of IT-related risks and execution of appropriate mitigation strategies.

Budget optimisation and management for relevant IT services.

Overseeing the delivery of highly responsive desktop support to employees.

Forecasting, usage optimisation and management of licenses across multiple systems.

Implementation of automations and integrations to streamline operations.

Execution of IT-related compliance, governance and data security initiatives.

DNS, SSL certificate management.

Candidate Requirements/ Experience :
Relevant tertiary qualification in IT

5+ years’ relevant experience.

Experience managing large IT teams.

Experience with large and complex Google Workspace configurations.

Expertise managing Windows, Linux and Mac operating systems.

Experience with POPI, GDPR and/or other relevant legislation.

Ability to build relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
