Internal sales/ Support Internships 2021/2022

Please note that this is a 12 months internship position in order to provide workplace experience to newly qualified candidates, and is not a permanent position.
Applicants must have qualifications ( a degree or diploma) that relates to the position, work experience is not necessary, however,
it may be an advantage. The recommended age for this position is 20 – 25 years.

Requirements
– Matric / Grade 12
– Grade 12 / Matric
– Sales / Marketing diploma / degree will be an advantage
– Knowledge of local construction industry
– Experience in roofing industry will be advantageous
– Experience using Syspro will be an advantage

Duties and responsibilities
– Counter sales
– Telesales
– Assist with Tender pricing / Quotations when required
– Promote Global Roofing Solutions full basket of products at all times
– Comprehensive Knowledge of products and prices in the market place compared to GRS’s offering
– Capture on Syspro accurately the customer’s order
– Liaise with Customer on progress of orders when required
– Assist external reps with quotations and admin
– Assist customers with cutting lists / drawing office requests / flashing sketches
– Liaise with customers regarding order progress
– Check material availability when quoting / expediting
– Analyze customer feedback and service satisfaction
– Assist with mobile mill / cranking bookings
– General Own Admin and Filing
– Maintain and grow customer data base
– Maintain customer price lists

– Assist external reps with quotations and admin
– Assist External Reps with the distribution of credit applications
– Assist with the capture and progress of orders when needed
– Assist Administrator with customers cutting lists / drawing office requests
– Assist Administrator with credit applications and rep reports for the debtors department
– Assist debtor department with Account enquiries, Debtors and deposits
– Assist Administrator with Customer complaints, requirements, progress

– Assist Administrator with mobile mill / cranking bookings & site readiness
– Assist with double checking captured orders against customer order
– Assist with customer complaints
– Assist with additional tasks as requested by management from time to time
– Participate in Stock take Quarterly
– Knowledge of material in warehouse
– Knowledge of material within the company an advantage
– Assist with replenishing warehouse and stock control
– Assist with waste / off cut management
– Assist with Manufacturing Orders
