Job Profile

What are the responsibilities of the role?

• Preparation of Spares (product only), Repairs (labour & product), Field Service (labour & product) quotations.
• Maintain pre-set margins on quotations.
• Obtain purchase orders via follow-up.
• Technical & commercial clarification of purchase orders before passing to order processors.
• Acquire & grow knowledge around Spares, Repair & Field Service portfolios.
• Actively manage daily workflows as logged in InControl (Track & Trace tool).
• Constantly grow knowledge of all internal tools & applications

(SAP, PMD, SOW, SIOS, Industry Mall, AGT, iQuote, OMS, GSP, PridaNet, InControl)

• Be the inviting & pleasant interface between customer requirements & Siemens Portfolio offerings (client facing interactions, solid knowledge of portfolios for successful internal coordination of requests)
• Collaboration with Technical, Business Administration & logistics colleagues. Also acquire high level knowledge of these job functions for comprehensive start-to-finish process knowledge.
• Foster positive/strong relationships with local, international customers & colleagues i.e. understanding possible challenges/differences in written & spoken communication – overcoming & mastering them.
• Nurture a pliable & flexible attitude, change of responsibilities & accountabilities are always on the horizon in our ever-evolving industry

Qualifications and Experience

• Completed B.Com Degree in Accounting or Equivalent
• Little/No work Experience
• Thirst for knowledge / Eager to grow & learn
• Thorough, Precise & Attentive
• Approachable / Welcoming personality
• Ability to work in fast paced & high-pressured environment
