  • The Human Resource department is looking to add a dynamic and administratively strong team player to their Operations-focused team in Gauteng. The successful candidate will be able to self-manage, be diligent in completing duties and able to manage stakeholder relationships effectively. Ad-hoc responsibilities would be included in this role and therefore it is important to manage time and outcomes

Ad-hoc responsibilities would be included in this role and therefore it is important to manage time and outcomes. This role will be based at the Regional Office in Johannesburg.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Creating and maintaining employee records on relevant system/s and updating internal database
• Provide support and guidance to in-store team members, being the first point of contact for employees on any HR related issues
• Preparing and maintaining HR documents
• Ensuring that the HR department supports our team members while complying with employment legislation
• Communicating with stakeholders across various departments
• Assisting with payroll by providing relevant employee information
• Conducting ITC, criminal and reference checks for recruitment purposes
• Building and maintaining effective business relationships with colleagues and key stakeholders by initiating and maintaining regular interactions
• Ad-hoc office administration duties as required

Requirements

• A relevant tertiary qualification is essential (HR / Industrial Psychology Degree)
• Strong analytical and reporting skills are essential
• Experience working on recruitment platforms essential (Direct Hire will be advantageous)
• Experience working on Payroll systems essential (PaySpace will be advantageous)
• Microsoft 365 proficient
• A minimum 2-year work experience in a similar role (HR Administration)
• Knowledge of employment legislation • An excellent communicator, able to communicate with team members at all levels in a professional manner
