Safair Operations, operating as has a vacancy for a Flight Operations Administrator at our Head office. The successful applicant will report to the Chief Pilot through the appointed delegate.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Provide office and administrative support in so far it relates to the following, but not limited to;
– The answering and directing of phone calls and assisting crew;
– Organizing and scheduling appointments and meetings, including ensuring the execution of agendas and taking of detailed minutes;
– Assist in the preparation and compilation of regular as well as ad hoc reports;
– Liaising with the rostering department with regards to roster requirements as delegated or as required;
– Administer and attend to any IPad related matters;
– Administer and attend to all parking related matters;
– Preparing letters for distribution;
– Liaise with the Chief Training Captain, Fleet Captain, EBT Manager, Cadets Manager, Office Pilots and Office Staff within Operations;
– Perform general office duties;
– Follow up and adherence to deadlines with updates of systems;
– Responsible for filing of documentation for auditing purposes;
– Keeping relevant documents and reports updated;
– Administer new crew starts updates (operational office);
– Liaise with HR for all reports related to Flight Deck crew;
– Perform ad hoc duties as assigned from time to time.
REQUIREMENTS:
– Grade 12;
– Secretarial, administrative or related qualification will be advantageous;
– A relevant tertiary qualification will be an added advantage;
– Strong administrative skills with proven previous administration experience is essential;
– Previous aviation / operations experience would be beneficial;
– Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
