Job Description:

Our client, an integrated supply chain company, is seeking a Fleet Controller to join their team in Nelspruit. The Fleet Controller will be responsible for fleet management and monitoring, ensuring that each vehicle reaches its production and diesel targets. They will also be responsible for constant communication with drivers and the team, administering and controlling the daily attendance of drivers, and assisting in the capturing of data.

Requirements:

– Senior Certificate.
– Code B driver’s license & own transport.
– Required to travel from time to time.
– Available after business hours & during weekends.
– Excellent communication & relationship building skills.
– Excellent organising & prioritising skills.
– Ability to work in a systematic, methodical & orderly manner in order to achieve goals on a consistent basis.
– Computer literate (MS Office).
– Ability to work long hours & work under pressure.
– Accepting & tackling demanding goals with enthusiasm, hard workmanship, commitment & willingness to put in longer hours when necessary.
– Ability to plan activities in advance and take account of possible changing circumstances.
– Ability to manage time effectively.
– Logistical experience (bulk cross border tipper) will be an advantage.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure production and diesel targets are met.
• Monitor and manage the fleet management system.
• Maintain constant communication with drivers and the team.
• Administer and control the daily attendance of drivers.
• Assist in the capturing of data.
• Communicate vehicle maintenance issues.
• Plan and schedule vehicle services.
