Job Description:
The Festive Shop Assistant at The Body Shop will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service during the festive trade period. They will assist customers with product knowledge queries, direct them to products, and maintain merchandising duties according to store standards. The assistant will also restock shelves, keep the store clean, wrap and bag items, and inform customers about promotions and offerings.
Requirements:
– Grade 12 certificate
– Experience in sales or service environment (desirable)

– Able to work efficiently within guidelines and timeframes
– Honest and trustworthy
– Enthusiastic and vibrant
– Able to work independently as well as within a team
– Must be able to work under pressure
– Must have good communication skills
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide superior customer service by being visible and offering a friendly and professional service
• Respond to basic product knowledge queries from customers
• Assist or direct customers to products
• Execute and maintain all merchandising duties according to store and visual merchandise standards
• Efficiently restock shelves and assist in keeping the store clean and orderly
• Wrap and bag items purchased by customers
• Inform customers about promotions and offerings
