A dynamic hands-on Creative Director
LKDA is looking for dynamic and experienced creative director to drive, inspire and lead creative team to develop exceptional creative concepts, strategies and complete design solutions that make a difference to key accounts/projects.
NB: Role is not focused on ‘once-off ads’ but comprehensive TTL solutions to meet client and brand objectives.
Key creative authority with Strat and AE at client introductions, presentations and pitches.
Understanding client strategies, business objectives/challenges and translating these into clear project objectives/agency briefs.
Developing fully thought-out creative solutions that will make a difference to customers.
Present clear direction, briefs and approach to Clients, Lead Creatives and AM/Portfolio Managers.
Brainstorm with lead creatives and nurturing best ideas with clear milestones and deliverables.
Drive creative process ensuring all work is on brand, relevant and strategically aligned on all communication platforms/mediums.
Support Client Service and Studio on everyday briefs with pro-active thinking and solutions to smaller projects (Traditional, Digital, Film).
Understanding the importance and balance between ‘The Big Idea’ and how all communication elements work together in terms of timeframes, rollout and requirements.
Good understanding of resource requirements to rollout complete campaigns and ongoing brand communication.
Review and give input to creative team, ensuring deliverables effectively address marketing goals and challenges.
Good writing skills to support creative ideas, storylines, scripts and brand content.
Thought leadership to team on best practice approaches, latest trends and opportunities ensuring work is always fresh, original and relevant.
Good understanding of operational requirements, management, budgets, etc that influences solution.
Network of experienced production houses, freelancers, animators etc to ensure cost-efficient solutions for agency and client.
Set goals and and support day-today operations across the creative team.
Create structure and approach to ensure collaboration and spirit of teamwork with the team.
Identify talent, skills and requirements to unlock growth and opportunities for team members.
Evaluate and build powerful creative team based on agency, client and changing requirements.
Mentor and identify key players to support Mid Management Strategy.
Contribute to the strategic and creative development of the agency’s marketing and new business development.
Drive innovation and internal morale with creative workshops and experiences (The fun stuff).
Submit comprehensive portfolio reflecting skills, experience and capabilities based on scope of position.

Min five years’ experience as creative director in TTL design agency
Experience in FMCG, B2B and B2C brands
Relevant and qualification from reputable tertiary institution
Copywriting experience in TTL media, including digital and social
A comprehensive portfolio showcasing work
Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
