The main purpose of this role is to contribute to the enablement of a “smart modern SARS with unquestionable integrity that can be trusted and admired”.
The aim of this role is to provide technical expertise to all Identity and Access management requirements that support the cyber security posture of the modern, digital SARS. Working closely within IT Security Engineering function, as well as the rest of the Technology & Services Delivery division to ensure a strong IT Security posture for SARS and digital tax payers.
Duties And Responsibilities (Outputs)
✓ Develop and/or align governance and compliance policies in own practice areas to identify and manage risk exposure liability.
✓ Integrate new knowledge and transfer skills attained through formal and informal learning opportunities in the execution of your job.
✓ Provide specialist know-how, support, advice and practice thought leadership in area of expertise.

✓ BSC Honours / Postgraduate Diploma in Information Technology (NQF 8)
✓ 10-12 years’ experience in an IT Security Operations environment, of which 6-8 years ideally specialist level
