Job Description

  • SHORT TERM CLAIMS ADMINISTRATOR required for a well-established insurance company to manage claims from start to end

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Register claims and liaise with Assessors (commercial and personal)
  • Load tasks and ensure continuously updated.
  • Ensure client files are updates
  • Data administration on CRM System
  • Manage claims – follow up and provide feedback to clients
  • Accurate and timeous communication and relationship building. (Handle claims queries and general enquiries).
  • Assisting with arranging car hire at claim stage.
  • Assisting clients with 3rd party claims.
  • Ensure compliance in the claims process
  • Review policies at renewal stage
  • In-house servicing and amendments
  • Application of policy terms and conditions
  • Recoveries and settlements


  • Matric/NQF4
  • Ability to liaise with brokers/clients in English and Afrikaans
  • Efficient in Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Multi-skilled, knowledge of different industry policy wordings advantages
  • Experience on the X Plan insurance package would be highly beneficial
