Job Description:

The Department of Employment & Labour is seeking a Call Centre Agent to join the Unemployment Insurance Fund in Pretoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for answering incoming calls, handling outgoing calls, maintaining the employer’s database, and evaluating the quality of calls received.


– Senior Certificate / Grade 12 or equivalent
– 0-6 months’ experience
– Knowledge of Batho Pele Principles, Telephone Etiquette, and Call centre operating system
– Computer Literacy
– Interpersonal and Communication skills

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Answering incoming calls (Inbound)
• Handling outgoing calls (Outbound)
• Maintaining employer’s database
• Handling electronic enquiries
• Evaluating the quality of the calls received and providing advice on Standard Operational Measures
