Job Description

  • Afritrek Logistics was started in 2008 by Basil Dardagan and Chris Jones, combined, who after a decade decided to follow a dream and start their own business. Although the beginning was a humble one comprising of just two bakkies and themselves as the drivers, the business has grown from strength to strength since then.
  • We require a young, dynamic, well-presented Sales Assistant who is eager to learn about the transport industry. Afritrek Logistics provides a nation wide break bulk transport service.

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Providing Quotes (Internal/COD/Client)
  • Assisting Sales Reps with Costings
  • Assisting Accounts with Costings
  • Bookiing of Collectiions
  • Printing of Waybills / Labels
  • Liaising with Sales Reps and Management regarding rates
  • Sales Administration

Requirements

  • Experience in sales admin.
  • Experience in quotes.
  • Understanding of sales process.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Able to work comfortable in a fast paced environment.
