Administrative Assistant | Umalusi

Umalusi is inviting suitable candidates to apply for the Administrative Assistant position.

Requirements
• NSC or NC(V) Level 4 or NSC (Colleges) or SC, SC(Amended) or equivalent NQF Level 4 certificate.
• Three-year degree / National Diploma in accounting or related business administration, and at least one and half years’ experience in debtors’ management and credit control (general office and finance administration) is an added advantage.

Skills & Competencies
• Excellent administrative and organisational skills, with extensive PC skills in Microsoft Office Suite are required.
• This should be coupled with good communication and writing skills, accurate data capturing, the ability to work independently, handle confidential matters and work under pressure.

Responsibilities
•The incumbent will be responsible for the invoicing of debtors, debtor’s liaison and following up on outstanding accounts.
•The incumbent will also be expected to provide general administrative support to the finance unit; filing of financial documents; photocopying and faxing of documents and any administrative tasks as requested by the Unit Manager.
•The incumbent must be willing to work extended hours when required to.
