Job Description
- We are currently recruiting for an Admin Assistant to join our company.
- This opportunity is Half day.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive parcels from courier, unpack and sort (Documents addressed to Debtors)
- Update received date for pods on WSS system.
- Sign & send pod received checklist back to relevant depots.
- Check original Pods for all relevant documents – advise debtors team regarding any documents short.
- Hand over client specific pods to relevant debtor administrator as required.
- Print and attach invoices & prepare and print a cover sheet for customers.
- Complete waybill, book courier, and send out client pods to their respective offices.
- Filing of Checklists & courier slips.
- Boxing of Pods to be kept in storage.
- Keep record of specifications regarding pods and invoices to be sent to customers.
- Answering of switchboard Screening of call
Requirements
- Reception experience or similar role
- Transport Industry experience (not compulsory but beneficial)
- At least 2 years’ experience in an administrative role.
- Computer skills – Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Filing and record keeping – maintain filing system & keep it up to date.
- Sending/booking of courier parcels & or packages (not compulsory but beneficial
