Job Description:

• SP incremental recruitment – applicable only for cloud distributors
• Convert VARs (Value Added Resellers) to MSPs (Managed Service Providers)
• Revenue growth from Acronis services
• Marketing activities to support revenue growth
• Certification plan (sales and technical)


• Bachelor’s degree in business or related fields or higher education equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience in IT industry
• At least 2 years of experience in sales and business development management


• Proven experience in channel management and business development
• Proven experience in project management
• Ability to structure data and present outcomes.
• Excellent analytical skills

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ability to drive results without direct authority.
• Must be an articulate, persuasive and polished oral and written communicator, able to effectively discuss and negotiate around Acronis business development.
• Must be a good listener, creative, intuitive, and have the ability to resolve problems in potentially stressful situations.
• Must be a confident and assertive professional, acting as an independent but also capable of working within a team.
• Detail oriented with strong focus on delivery of expected results.
• Quarterly business plans should be agreed with the Acronis authorized representative and the authorized person from distributor no later than two weeks before respective quarter start
• Yearly business plans should be agreed upon with the Acronis authorized representative and the authorized person from distributor no later than one month before the start of the respective year.
• To track business plan execution with the Acronis authorized representative on a monthly basis
• To raise Acronis strategy, vision, products, etc. and awareness within respective distributor departments by running and organizing relevant internal trainings at least on a monthly basis through Acronis Academy and Certification
• To make sure Acronis services are included into the distributor product portfolio and constantly updated (new service launch and/or price-list update and/or new product feature launch, etc.)
• organize and/or run webinars about Acronis services to distributors, existing SP’s, and partners at least on a monthly basis.
• Actively recruit and engage new SP’s and partners in using Acronis services in accordance with yearly business plan.
• Develop relationships and communication channels with both – Acronis and distributor management teams, business unit leaders, and influencers to ensure smooth communication on priorities, strategy and execution between two companies.
• Proactively discover any roadblocks in developing Acronis business in distributor company and communicating those to Acronis in a timely manner
• Build and share pipeline for Acronis services, perform regular pipeline reviews with Acronis authorized representative.
• Involved in all key sales activities and engage Acronis sales and pre-sales support if needed.
• Prepare materials and reports for QBRs (quarterly business reviews) not later than 3 weeks after respective quarter ends.
• Execute the action plan to achieve agreed targets.
